Mark Twain

Collating data is a tedious job, but it allows us to scour the newspapers for interesting articles and ads. Here is the obituary for Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) as printed in the Tonopah Daily Bonanza on April 22, 1910. In 1862, he started working as a reporter for the Virginia City Daily Territorial Enterprise in Virginia City,  Nevada. Here is where he first used his pen name “Mark Twain”.
