Carrie Gaixola is the new Newspaper Project Coordinator!
Carrie holds a Master of Science in Information Science, Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History, and is currently earning a Master of Archive and Record Administration.
She brings with her many past professional experiences, most recently the library manager of a small community college, Great Basin College, numerous years of experience at UNLV Libraries (Public Services Intern, Data Analyst, and Statistician), as well as a brief position as an Assistant Research Analyst at the Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy office.
Carrie is a Nevada native and is looking forward to serving the state of Nevada and beyond, through her new position. Carrie believes that the only true power is knowledge and feels she is contributing to the academic and personal learning endeavors of others in this position.
